Marching in New York City’s LGBT Pride March is a fun and important thing to do, but biking it is even better. There are lots of stops and starts along the way — for the marchers. Cyclists can weave in and out among the floats, high-five the spectators, practice wheelies and bunny hops and have a blast during what can otherwise be a long afternoon. It’s always the last Sunday in June, and these days we gather on the side streets off Fifth Ave. in the East 30s, but we won’t know until a few days before the march exactly what place we’ve been assigned and where to meet. If you want to meet up with us for the march, email your email address to Bob Nelson at fastnfab(at)yahoo(dot).com.
