We Love to Dine
JULY 24, SHEEP STATION: Mike Grzelecki invites you to join him at 7 p.m. for dinner at New York City's most fabulous Australian restaurant, Sheep Station (http://www.sheepstation.net/), at 194 Fourth Ave. (corner of Douglass St.) in Park Slope. Among the outstanding items served here are fish and seafood dishes, stacked Aussie burgers, authentic meat and veggie pies and, of course, grilled lamb. Beers and wines from down under are available by the bottle or the glass. The atmosphere is casual and
the place got a great review on http://Chowhound.com and a respectable one from the New York Times. The D, Q, N, 2, 3, and 4 trains stop at the Atlantic/Pacific St. station, which is a seven-block walk down to Douglass; alternatively, you can shorten your walk by switching to the downtown M or R local to Union Street, then walk up three blocks to Douglass. Please RSVP to Mike at 347-268-1878 or mikejgrzelecki@aol.com so he can reserve us a table or three. And please, no jokes about the poor
sheep.
