Bear Mountain Bridge: East to West

Fast and Fabulous Cycling Club

Why do this ride and what you're in for:
This route is a nice change from riding up to Bear Mountain and back on Route 9W.  That course is plenty hilly, but here’s one that goes out of its way to put you on hilly back roads with plenty of scenery, like the aptly-named Mount Airy Road.  Don’t say you weren’t warned.

The section in BLUE substitutes for continuing on Route 9W through the strip mall hell that is Haverstraw.
